Article by Adam Brown @AdamMNViAfter another heroic European night at Anfield, it’s straight into another big game against United. If we could stop picking up injuries as we approach the Christmas period, that would be helpful. There’s not much choice in terms of the back four, with injuries to Gomez, Matip, Trent, and, even, Nat Phillips. It will be interesting to see who Jurgen brings in over January on loan. Formation: 4-3-3The best goalkeeper in the Premier League will be playing for Liverpool this time. It’s not clear whether anyone knew just how good the Brazilian would be when he arrived after the World Cup – the type of goalkeeper you need to win trophies. We don’t have much choice at the back – Lovren will, of course, come in for Matip. With Trent out, Clyne is an option – but with not much football played, Rafa Camacho could be the better option on Sunday. Henderson keeps his place The midfield performed beyond expectations on Tuesday. Against a Mourinho side who will park the bus, we only need one defensive midfielder. In the attacking areas though, is where we will need the flair of Naby Keita – the Guinean is the only change to Tuesday’s midfield three. Upfront, we should be unchanged. Sadio Mane will be determined to score in this game after his flurry of missed chances midweek. It feels like this is the perfect time to play United when comparing the form of both teams, but it feels like Mourinho knows how to frustrate us. The first goal will be crucial as always, but this season, there is certainly more confidence than previous ones. Take our chances, win the game.
