Adam Brown – @AdamMNViThe European champions begin their Champions League campaign in familiar surroundings as Liverpool travel to Italy to take on Napoli. The Reds have begun the Premier League season perfectly with five wins. The front three have been unstoppable so far, which should bode well against a Napoli side who had conceded seven goals in two games before their clean sheet against Sampdoria at the weekend.Jurgen Klopp’s starting line up could be affected by an upcoming important fixture against Chelsea. Norwich’s result against Manchester City means the Reds currently hold a five-point cushion at the top of the Premier League table which they will look to extend at Stamford Bridge. The managing of Roberto Firmino is emerging as a delicate task for Klopp to consider. The Reds are a completely different side without him which means Liverpool must be cautious of overplaying him. For the role the Brazilian plays, there isn’t a replacement in the squad who can deliver similar performances.

Here’s how we should line up: Joe Gomez comes in for Trent as we look to apply a more pragmatic approach to usual. The rest of the defence remains the same with no real replacement for Robertson in big games.Fabinho starts in the six behind Milner and Henderson. The captain’s rest against Newcastle means it is likely he will come in for this one. We have to respect Napoli’s attack which we can look to nullify before scoring on the break. The defensive aptitude of our midfield means Roberto Firmino should be able to focus less on defending. This is the hardest game of the group stage which means we should look to play our strongest front three with the intention of withdrawing late on. Future games could see the likes of Origi and Shaqiri involved as the Reds prioritise Firmino for the league.Liverpool are in much better form compared to when they last visited the Stadio San Paolo – our performance was shocking there last year. On the other hand, the stadium’s form has regressed, don’t be surprised to see a forklift truck or bag of cement in the concourse on Tuesday night.Napoli are capable of causing us problems but this should work in the Reds favour as we look to counter.  A more controlled approach should see the three points secured.Score prediction: Napoli 1 – 2 Liverpool
