By Adam Brown – @AdamMNVi The Reds travel to Austria to conclude the group stage in a game where defeat must be avoided to progress into the latter stages. Liverpool can’t expect any favours from Genk with the Belgian side yet to win a game in the tournament. It’s a more significant fixture than some would imagine: A loss would send Liverpool into the Europa League where the Thursday-Sunday fixture schedule would disrupt the title challenge. That said, the game is a must-win for Salzburg – meaning they will play attacking against a dangerous Liverpool side. Given the implications of a loss, Klopp must play the strongest possible team on Tuesday. Don’t forget this week’s game kicks off at 17.55pm UK time.

How should Liverpool line up?   Lovren has trained this week but the risk of losing another centre back means Joe Gomez should start. The second defensive dilemma Klopp must handle is the minutes which Andy Robertson has played of late, but the importance of this game means the Scotsman’s rest may need to come against Watford on Saturday The captain has been excellent in his last two games and looks to have improved in passing range; Henderson must start on Tuesday.  Wijnaldum comes back in after a rest against Bournemouth. Liverpool fans have to be confident with any selection of the front three on Tuesday. The likes of Origi and Shaqiri will be desperate to play some part but it’s got to be the tried and tested front three for this one. Minutes will be available when the Reds take on Watford at Anfield on Saturday. Salzburg have an impressive home record but the majority of those games are vs weak opposition. The Austrians have nothing to lose which can be dangerous, but the Reds are more than capable of dealing with that. Score prediction: Salzburg 1 – 3 Liverpool By Adam Brown – @AdamMNVi
