Article by Adam Brown @AdamMNVi That’s two finals in a row now for Jurgen Klopp and hopefully something which Liverpool fans can get used to. This squad is built for success, which means it’s only a matter of time before the Reds take to the pitch for a cup final again. But, before then, it’s time to focus on the second Premier League game of the season. It’s a quick turnaround from Istanbul as Liverpool travel to Southampton. It would be unsurprising to see some changes after 120 minutes of football on Wednesday.

We will likely see Andy Lonergan start this week after a fan injured Adrian during the celebrations. It’s been a ridiculous start to the season. The back four returns to our most consistent with Trent and Robertson alongside Matip and Virgil. It would be a risk to start Fabinho here after he went down with cramp. This is a game where we need to use our squad depth which is why I’ve gone for a midfield three of Wijnaldum, Milner and Ox. More than good enough to dominate the game.Firmino showed just how key he is to our system on Wednesday. The Brazilian makes everything tick which is why he will need to be managed carefully. Klopp should look to get a comfortable lead before withdrawing our attack. Shaqiri and Origi will be strong options off the bench at St. Mary’s.Southampton are coming off a 3-0 defeat against Burnley which doesn’t bode well for a defence who will go from facing Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood to Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino. Liverpool’s attack should be too much on Saturday – start strong and get the game secure by the hour.Score Prediction: Southampton 0 – 3 Liverpool Article by Adam Brown – @AdamMNVi
