The team is back at a stage where Klopp has some difficulty in selecting the starting eleven. For Lovren’s antics against Ramos alone, he deserves a start at the weekend. The only other question is at right-back, where Gomez will be a stronger option for the away game against the Hornets. The midfield three has limitless options, but, based on form, Shaqiri and Wijnaldum are solid options here, with either Keita or Milner as the second central midfielder. I’ve gone for Naby as it will be interesting to see how that three play together. It’s a matter of time before Roberto Firmino scores a brace and triggers a solid run of form – class is permanent; he just needs the opportunity. Mane and Salah complete the Liverpool attack on the flanks. Despite a strong start in the league, Watford have tailed off in recent weeks; dropping points to both Newcastle and Southampton. If competing for the top four, this would likely be a tougher game, but when title challenging, this is the sort of game where a statement of intent has to be made.
