Starting XI: How should Liverpool lineup against Belgrade?

Article by Adam Brown @AdamMNVi Liverpool are finding ways to win when playing badly, but a game has to come soon where the Reds can go out and convincingly – even if that’s by way of a Belgrade official allegedly betting on the -3 handicap. While the performance against Huddersfield wasn’t perfect, there were still plenty of opportunities where it was a simple case of a missing final ball. Tonight’s game at Anfield is the first of two consecutive ties in which Jurgen Klopp has the opportunity to take command of the group. Formation: 4-3-3  Naby Keita remains unavailable alongside Jordan Henderson, which provides the ideal opportunity for Fabinho to continue becoming accomplished in Klopp’s system. This game is a chance for Liverpool to use the squad (without going too crazy) – rests for van Dijk and Gomez can ensure they’re fresh for the weekend. Shaqiri is continuing to impress and deserves a start on merit, but the difficulty is, of course, who comes out? Salah has played a lot this season, and despite a well-taken goal at the weekend, had some moments where the Egyptian King could have done better – let’s take him out the spotlight for this one. Elsewhere, Firmino leads the line to try and put this game away early. If successful, we will ideally see Adam Lallana back at Anfield after such misfortune with injuries. What can we expect from this one?
