Another away day, another loss, at least that was the case on Saturday for Liverpool. Now, the Reds go in search of a rare three points on the road when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been nothing short of abysmal at times away from Anfield and although a managerless and rudderless Chelsea presents a wholly viable opponent for which to change their fortunes, it’s hard to place any confidence in Liverpool right now.
Still without Luis Diaz, Thiago and having alluded to changes in his pre-match press conference, the German boss could make some major calls on rotation as he attempts to find some form of performance from his charges.
Here’s how I think Klopp will select his XI…
How we should line up: Formation 4-3-3
These games have been incredibly tense affairs in recent times and Klopp could well look to break the shackles here.
Lineup prediction: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Matip, Tsimikas; Fabinho, Milner, Elliott; Nunez, Firmino, Gakpo.
Score prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool
