Article by @ScouseAdamMVAfter a perfect display against West Ham, Liverpool fans now must endure a frustrating wait until Monday night. Any uncertainty from previous opening days was erased last Sunday as the Reds started the season how they ended the last, declaring the intent to challenge for every competition this season. There is genuine competition for places this season, which means that there is going to be plenty of uncertainty over who form Liverpool’s strongest XI. In some ways, there is no strict ‘best lineup’ the depth we have this year is refreshing, and, our best side will always be relative to the challenge which the opposition offers. For example, we’re unlikely to play with Henderson and Fabinho in a 4-2-3-1 against Palace, but, that could be an effective system against the likes of Manchester City. Formation : 4-3-3 With such a strong performance against West Ham, it’s a matter of repeating the process. While Liverpool could include either Fabinho or Henderson into the six, Wijnaldum is likely our best option against a Roy Hodgson side who will likely park the bus and try to score from set pieces and counter-attacks. Gini is extremely comfortable at moving the ball and can rotate with Milner when spotting an opportunity to get forward. As suspected, Naby Keita looks like he will be a vital part of this Klopp’s Liverpool side; it’s already clear why Klopp wanted to bring him in alongside Coutinho. The Guinean maestro will be the key in this one and will likely be the man who causes a fracture in against a rigid, organised defence. Finally, it will be interesting to see if Joe Gomez can continue his form at the heart of defence alongside van Dijk. The defence was solid last time out against a West Ham side who have invested plenty into their attack over the summer – a strong performance from Gomez against an inform Wilfried Zaha will make it difficult for Klopp to make changes when other options return from injury.Article by @ScouseAdamMVHow does Chris think that Jurgen Klopp will select the team for this one?
