Liverpool return from a much-needed international break to face perhaps the most daunting trio of fixtures the Premier League can offer up at a pivotal stage of the season.
The Reds face title-chasing and familiar foes Man City at the Etihad before a trip to Chelsea in midweek and a clash with current Premier League table toppers Arsenal at Anfield next weekend.
Despite the gruelling week ahead, Jurgen Klopp’s side aren’t in a position to be picky where they get their points and it has to start immediately.
The chances of an impressive season final have been handed a boost by the return of Luis Diaz, however, it’s unlikely the Colombian will feature in Manchester.
Here’s how I think Klopp will select his XI…
How we should line up: Formation 4-2-3-1
Albeit without Diaz, there are five frontline attacking options at Klopp’s disposal and it’s possible the German may include four of them here – adopting somewhat of a ‘fire-with-fire’ approach.
Lineup prediction: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson; Nunez, Salah, Gakpo; Jota.
Score prediction: Man City 2-2 Liverpool
