Alisson – 6Pretty much a passenger in that game. Sold Bobby short in the first half, made up for it with a spectacular save moments later. Also managed to beat Troy Deeney’s massive fucking head to the ball. Kudos. Trent – 7Delivered that ball into the back of the net like he delivered SnapChat, what a fucking treat. Up against a very physical side and I thought he coped well defensively. Lovren – 5Lucky to win that foul in the first half, but didn’t really contribute much other than that. van Dijk – 6He doesn’t need to do much to impress me, his physical presence gets me going and must scare the shit out of his opponents. Kept Deeney quiet and Deulofeu too. Robertson – 7Could he given away a penalty? I don’t think so. Look at him, he’s too nice. Up and down that wing like a YoYo. He allows Mane to take risks because he’s so solid at the back. Ran his dick off for the third goal, hero! Hendo – 4Covered the back line several times in that games, especially during set plays. Recycles possession well, particularly when we need it in this sort of game. Took a yellow like a trooper, more shithousery please.Oh no wait, too much shithousery. Don’t do that! Already had a warning minutes before. Going to miss the Everton game, not sure he would have started anyway to be honest. Gini – 6Took a few more risks going forward in the first half with Hendo protecting the back four behind him. Had the drive and determination in the second half to help his teammates keep the press.Instrumental in the third goal!

Shaqiri – 5Always looks a threat and always looks to create. It didn’t come off today but he’s the creative spark we have been missing recently. Sadly though I don’t think he will start against PSG. Salah – 6 Firmino – 6Been under some criticism recently but I thought he was decent today, found himself really deep at times in the first half. Second half was much better, even tried a bicycle kick. His press and runs will always keep him in that team, even if it doesn’t work, you know he won’t give up. Even bagged a goal, not sure how it wasn’t offside but I don’t care! Mane – 6New contract and an assist, what more could you ask for? Well a hattrick would have been lovely to be honest but he can just store that for PSG.
