His first yellow I will praise him for, I’m a huge admirer of a shithouse tackle to prevent a counter attack but don’t do it again when you’re already on a yellow and don’t do it when Jon Moss has just bollocked you and given you a warning for swearing at the linesman.We all lose our heads sometimes but its particularly frustrating as we were already winning, there was no need and we have some huge games coming up. As Liverpool captain he should know better.
Securing SadioNot so much something we learned but just a note on the importance of getting Sadio a new deal. If he hadn’t signed a new contract it wouldn’t have made a difference to his performance today.Having Sadio, Mo and Bobby all signed up on long term deals is huge for the future of this club and for this season. No distractions, no click bait and no Barcelona knocking at the door.Sadio was brilliant again today, always looking to cause havoc and playing with confidence. Stuff might not always work for Mane but you can guarantee he won’t give up. Got an assist today and could have easily had himself a goal.Liverpool have made huge strides in buying new, quality players recently but they should also get credit for retaining our current stars that would have left not so long ago.All hail Michael Edwards, Jurgen Klopp and the rest of the staff.
