Well that was a bit shit wasn’t it. I was fine with not going unbeaten in the league, I was fine with drawing or losing the odd game. (as fine as you can be) Given the fact we will probably still win the league.But I wasn’t alright with the performance and you shouldn’t be either. Some absolutely shocking individual displays all over the shop.Let’s have it right too. Watford were fucking bang up for that, they fought for everything, they won all the second balls, they were aggressive, a little too much at times, but we just fell apart. Let’s be honest, Deulofeu had him on toast several times before he went off and it didn’t get much better. Found himself in possession quite a bit but the wall of Watford continued to deny him.Lovren – 4Rash, hurried, too aggressive, lack of control. Ring any bells? Thought so.The back four weren’t great, a lack communication and he failed to pick up his man time and time again.To be fair he did mark them, he just had them in a headlock, right in front of the ref.van Dijk – 5Listen, if anyone is allowed an off day, it’s him. Ideally not when we need him most. His standards have been superior since he came in but this was one to forget for him and the reRobbo – 5One of the bright sparks in the first half. An outlet as always, but as we have started to see in recent games teams are happy for Trent and Robbo to have the ball if they just crowd out the box.Fabinho – 5A few big tackles here and there, he should have been bang up for this physical task and we were just overrun from start to finish.

Provided the odd spark here and there but lack of movement between him and the front three, not really creative and defensively didn’t support Fabinho.Salah – 4Hardly touched the ball really. In fact, he had 36 touches in 90 minutes. A credit to Watford though, had him well marshalled.Bobby – 4Like a shit game of Top Trumps this. He had 31 touches. Just couldn’t get involved.Mane – 5Slightly better at 43 touches. Not the perfect measurement for a game of football but just shows how limited they were throughout the game.
