Didn’t really have much to do in the first half, West Brom had a spell of 10 minutes where they put us under pressure but nothing that he couldn’t deal with, made an excellent save to deny Rondon in the second half. One thing I noticed was during the set pieces he came off his line quite a bit for balls he would never reach, the equalising goal being one of them.
Gomez 6
First game back after being out injured but didn’t have a good game. Looked nervous whenever he got the ball and was at fault for the West Brom equaliser after playing a sloppy ball leading to Henderson giving the foul way for the free kick.
Van Dijk 7
Looked comfortable on the ball and was very vocal in organising the defence. Had to cover for Gomez a few times but was able to deal with the situation.
Klavan 6
Similar to Gomez. Not been in the team for the past few weeks and looked nervous on the ball and some of his passes were quite short sometimes leading to us becoming under pressure.
Moreno 7
Didn’t put in a stand out performance but was able to do his job well. Similar to Gomez and Klavan with not playing a lot of football over the past couple of weeks.
Henderson 7
Solid game in midfield, kept it simple with his passes, could have done more but overall a good game.
Milner 8
Man of The Match for me today. Was everywhere on the pitch today whether it was making runs to set up an attack or getting back in defence to help out. Put in some decent crosses that could have led to more goals for the Reds.
Wijnaldum 7
Similar to Henderson. Put in a solid performance, no stand out moments but kept it simple.
Salah 8
31 goals in 33 games. Running out of words to describe this man, he only gets better and he loves a good chip over the keeper doesn’t he?
Ings 8
Made up for him. Nearly three years since his last goal and the celebrations from him and his teammates shows just how much it meant to him. Should have added a second goal late in the first half as well as having a penalty which could have changed the whole dynamic of the game but just happy that he has finally got the goal he wanted and deserves.
Mane 7
Another solid performance from Mane again. Was bright when he had the ball and looked sharp going forward. Great piece of skill to contribute to the goal and he looks like he his playing his best football of the season over the last few games.

Oxlade-Chamberlain- 7
Looked sharp when he came on and added to the game. Got another assist for Mo Salah goal and them two see to have a good understanding on the field.
Firmino 7
Similar to OX, looked bright when he came on. Won the header that allowed Mo to pass the ball to Chamberlain leading to Liverpool second goal.
Lovren 6
Didn’t really do much when he came on. Should have defended better during the set piece of the equaliser.
