After a rewarding win against Everton on the weekend, Dan meets up with former Liverpool winger Dirk Kuyt at Hotel Anfield to talk about the season so far and what we can expect going forward.
The Dutch international played 285 matches for The Reds with 71 goals and 43 assists while winning the League Cup and the Super Cup. With that wealth of experience, the Dutchman knows what it will take for Jurgen Klopp’s side to push on against all fronts in the upcoming season.

Speaking on the possibility of a successful campaign for The Reds during our ‘Quick Chat…’, Kuyt said: “It was a tough afternoon for LFC but as you say very delighted with the result and another two great goals from Mo Salah.
“After Nunez came on he actually made the difference and made Liverpool win the game. I think it’s what you need to be successful. In the European leagues, you need more than 11 good players.
“I think Klopp has every position doubled and that gives the team perspective and hopefully we will win many trophies with it. I think so far they’ve done very well but people also forget that we’ve already had some tough away games.
“The team just need to keep going and I’m very confident that they can at least battle for the championship and hopefully they will do so.”
