“Until we put out a consistent side, we won’t get consistent results.” – Me, loads this season.

Two games, the same side, Fabinho in DM, Nat Phillips and Kabby bossing at the back. OH LOOK – TWO WINS ON THE BOUNCE.

In truth, it wasn’t great was it? Wolves dominated possession, our passing was a bit shite, fouls all over the show and don’t get me started on Martin Tyler. I’m sure he is really lovely, but fuck me. He was on about squeals, emperors and all sorts during that game. I have the option to turn him off so I shouldn’t moan too much. And in fairness, the game was a bit shite.

The game though, will be remembered for a shocking incident between Coady and Patricio. As if Wolves haven’t been through enough with head injuries. How they can or are expected to concentrate when they’ve just seen their mate lying on the floor is beyond me.

I think I speak for everyone at Redmen when I say I hope he’s ok and we all wish him a speedy recovery.

Alisson –  8

Bit of a mad one for Alisson, wasn’t sure what to give him. He was kept pretty busy but he seemed a bit out of character flapping at a few things or certainly opting to punch at things when you though it would be easy for him to catch the ball. Passing wasn’t great either but you know what, after some important saves and a clean sheet I think an 8 is about right.

Trent – 8

You know what considering rival fans suggest he can’t defend he did alright there didn’t he? It may have hindered him going forward for large parts, particularly in the first half but you can’t have it both ways. Still managed 3 key passes in the game though. S0 maybe I’m chatting shite. You can have it both ways.

Kabak – 8.5

Really starting to grow on me this lad. Who’d have thought a 20 year old in a new team, new country and new league needed a few weeks to settle? Madness.

6 Clearances, 3 Interceptions, 2 Tackles, 1 Last man tackle, 3/5 ground duels, 3/5 aerial duels, 87% passing accuracy.

Two clean sheets on the bounce. Happy days.

Phillips – 8

Nat Phillips v Wolves

6 Clearances
3 Blocked Shots
2 Interceptions
1/2 Ground Duels Won
4/8 Aerial Duels Won

Robbo – 7.5

Had his hands full, literally, with Adama Traore tonight and at times Semedo. Important tackles but not much else to write about for Robbo to be honest. I’m just filling words at this point so more fool you if you’ve continued to read this for no reason and the seconds you’ve wasted you are now not able to get back. Life is short. Soz.

Fabinho – 8

Makes such a huge difference in the middle of the park even just his presence is enough to put others off, to give his team mates some confidence and more importantly he makes me feel safe. He knows that role like the back of his hand and it shows. Puts out fires, hoovers things up, supports others.

Thiago – 7

Fucking hell. Imagine something that wouldn’t shock this fella. Did about 3,343 fouls and then gets booked. Fumin. Did another 2,232 fouls and didn’t get booked somehow so Klopp takes him off before he’s sent off. Fumin. Love him me.

Gini – 7

Midfield wasn’t the best tonight and for large parts we we outnumbered and overrun. Probably the only one who’s passing was on point tonight but not much else to say to be honest.

Jota – 7.5

“Jota the slotter” as he’s now know as according to Carra. Well first of all I’m still convinced he hit the side netting and it went in that way. Didn’t celebrate it at all. But he was a threat, he got the winning goal and well that’s about it really.

Salah – 7.5

Got himself into some really good positions but defensively Wolves were pretty sound for most of that game. Now his goal I did celebrate, but it was fucking offside. Great involvement in the goal too.

Mané – 7.5

Great touch, one-two with Mo and assist for Jota which led to the goal. Had a few other opportunities but I can’t work out if he’s low on confidence, in poor form or unlucky at the moment, I love him to bits but he can be frustrating to watch at times. Maybe it’s a mix off all that.

Milner – N/A

Naby – N/A

Ox – N/A

Wasn’t on long.
