Well, that was bloody rubbish!

I’m going to call this one Things We Knew because I don’t think any of us were that surprised by certain performances tonight.

No More Moreno

I would be happy if that was his last performance in a Liverpool shirt.

He has not been given much game time this season and that match showed us why. He does not offer us anything going forward and he certainly does not offer us anything in defence, no wonder Andy Robertson is bloody knackered, Klopp does not want to play Moreno and to be quite honest I don’t want to see him again either.

Bring Back Alisson

Same applies to Mignolet tbh.

I really wanted him to have a good game tonight considering how professional he has been over the last few months since Alisson has come in and Karius departed making him the number two between the sticks. It makes me realise how lucky we are to have a goalie like Alisson on our team because I can not go back to Mignolet being our number one, how did we cope for so long?

Youth Did Well

Considering the injury crisis we are in and the level of the team that we played, I don’t think our youth players did that bad. I thought Hoever had some good moments throughout the game and for a 16-year-old kid to be thrust on within 4 minutes of a match and play in a CB partnership with a defensive midfielder, he didn’t do too bad.

I also thought Camacho was our MOTM. He showed real talent at times and he wasn’t afraid to drive forward and try and create opportunities. Curtis Jones was fine too, nothing to rave about really but he had a tough job up against that Wolves defence and Origi or Sturridge weren’t really offering him much.

Let me know your thoughts in the comment below!
