According to the Daily Star, Mohammed Salah could be tipped for an exit from the Reds this summer after Liverpool received a £200m bid for him last summer. As the Saudi Pro League continues its conquest of football, many hold the belief that this summer may be the perfect time for the Egyptian to leave and provide Liverpool with great funds for this transitional period post-Klopp.

Salah’s contract runs out next summer, possibly forcing the Reds hands to cash in, and as he enters the 24/25 season at the age of 32 with Michael Edwards, who opposed contract extensions being handed out to Jordan Henderson and James Milner in his previous stint at the club, having the role of negotiations, the idea that Salah may leave in the summer, albeit with a hefty price tag, is only strengthened.

Is Liverpool’s Title Challenge Over?

In turn, Liverpool have been linked heavily with Eintracht Frankfurt winger Omar Mamoush and Journalist Fabrizio Romano has said that the Reds are “keeping an eye” on numerous players at the German club. However, speaking to CaughtOffside he said that nothing is “imminent” at the moment and that the German side have not yet set an asking price for the German winger.

“Omar Marmoush – The Egyptian winger has been linked with Liverpool, and I’m aware they have scouted Eintracht in general to monitor some players, but there is nothing imminent or close at this stage with Marmoush or any other player,” “Eintracht have not communicated a price yet for Marmoush, so we are at really early stages of this story.”

We Need To Talk About Mo Salah.

With Klopp vacating his post at the end of this season, it can be guaranteed that the upcoming summer window will be one of great turnover at Liverpool, with a new manager needing to raise funds to bring in players that will match his style of play and with an ageing Salah, a valuable asset, being capable of raising hundreds of millions from the Saudi Pro League, big questions hang above his head as to whether he will stay or go.

Marmoush – described as possessing ‘blistering pace’ by Dino Topmoller – has 15 goals and six assists so far this season and would be a shrewd singing for Liverpool, albeit predominantly operating as a central striker.
